Kinder Outdoors
Kinder Outdoors is a well-known outdoor talk radio show hosted by radio veteran, Billy Kinder. Billy and his wife, Robin, started Kinder Productions, Inc. in the summer of 2009 with the desire to produce an entertaining and informative outdoor talk show that honored the Lord. Kinder Outdoors hit the airwaves on December 12, 2009, and first aired on one station, WBAP 820AM in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. That partnership remains. Today, Kinder Outdoors continues to grow and now also airs on SiriusXM-Channel 147 Rural Radio and is available on over 113 radio stations across 35 states distributed by the Salem Radio Network.
Kinder Outdoors has always been about family, friendly outdoor entertainment and targets the listener that is most likely to buy him/herself or guests a nice hunt. They accept no questionable advertising and they do their best to honor the Lord, our nation and the trailblazers that came before us. They believe that a good broadcaster/podcaster understands that success only comes when you convey absolute truths to listeners. They will never advertise or recommend anything that doesn’t perform as advertised. Kinder Outdoors is committed to wildlife conservation and spreading the message of caring for wildlife and wild places.
Billy and his family have visited The Dead Rabbit frequently and like to share TIPS on what to bring when visiting The Dead Rabbit, one of which is a big appetite. The Dead Rabbit makes sure that you are well-fed with good food.
Do not overpack; seasoned hunters will know that hunting pheasants requires walking in the fields. If you are dressed to bulky, you are likely to get too hot and struggle to navigate the fields. South Dakota weather is always unpredictable so check the weather a few days before your trip. Billy mentioned that he discovered The Buffalo Wool Company about 15 years ago, and their neck gaiter, socks and gloves are unmatched. Bring youngsters and introduce them to this treasured South Dakota heritage hunt.
Orange is of course the most important one. It’s far better to be well seen. An accident ruins a very special trip and possibly a whole lot more. Lastly, you WILL not regret a family, friend or business trip with clients to The Dead Rabbit!

World Whiskey Society
Established in 2020, the World Whiskey Society (WWS) comprises an ultra-premium collection of rare expressions previously unavailable to even the most sophisticated whiskey enthusiasts. WWS scours the globe far and wide with a singular goal in mind – uniqueness – before selecting a distillery partner to join WWS. Or they may choose to release something completely new by finishing small-batch American bourbon in exotic oak barrels from Japan. Whether it is the Classic Collection, the Reserve Collection, the tributes to Doc Holliday, or the Diamond Collection, WWS offers whiskies for everyday enjoyment and moments of celebration.
World Whiskey Society (WWS), known for scouring the globe in pursuit of the world’s most interesting and distinctive whiskies, continues its partnership with The Dead Rabbit Lodge with the release of two one-of-a-kind straight bourbons.
This collaboration is sure to warm the heart of any upland hunter. The Dead Rabbit Lodge and World Whiskey Society have joined forces to create a limited-edition release—a remarkable 23-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon crafted for those who appreciate tradition, craftsmanship, and the spirit of the outdoors.
“We are excited to introduce this collaborative release and share unique whiskey experiences with the world,” says Alex Kogan, CEO of World Whiskey Society. “We look forward to whiskey enthusiasts and hunters alike adding this exceptional release to their collections.”
This special release is more than just a beautiful tribute. Much like a skilled hunter who waits patiently for the perfect shot, this Kentucky Straight Bourbon reflects the art of patience and dedication. Aged in barrels for 23 years, it delivers a full-bodied bourbon unlike any other.
With every sip, the patience behind its long aging reveals itself through a rich and layered flavor experience. Deep notes of dark chocolate and smoky hickory blend seamlessly with dried dates, licorice, and subtle touches of black cherry. Undertones of dark sugar and molasses add richness and complexity, resulting in a bold and refined character designed to be enjoyed slowly and appreciated fully.
